I tried baking sourdough in a rental and now we're split
Some of us think changing recipes for different ovens is a neat test, others say it's a waste of good flour. My bread was part raw, part burnt. What do you think?

Piper's right about needing the why, but it's more than just learning what not to do. When you know the cause, you can actually make things work better next time. That way, you're not just avoiding mistakes, you're building on what you learn.
