My sister in law told me my cookies spread too thin and it was cause my butter was too soft
I always left butter out for hours til it was practically melted, now I chill it till its just below room temp. Anyone else get a basic tip that totally fixed their bakes?

But doesn't soft butter just make them crispier and more delicious?
