Why does nobody talk about the $150 Bundt pan that warped after one use

I dropped real cash on that fancy Nordic Ware pan and the first time I made a cream cheese pound cake it bent in the oven. The cake stuck so bad I lost half of it and the pan is useless now - anyone else dealt with a premium pan that couldn't handle the heat?

I used to be one of those people saying "maybe you just got a dud" until it happened to me too with the same pan. That cream cheese pound cake is rough on pans, idk why they can't handle it for the price.

Man that's rough, feels like you got a dud because mine's been solid for years.

Hate to disagree Lucas but I’ve seen this complaint way too often to call it a dud. @umar59 nailed it with that cream cheese pound cake example - those dense batters really test a pan’s limits and mine started sticking bad after just a few uses. I do think quality control is all over the place with these, yours might be from a good batch while others got the sloppy coating. It’s frustrating paying that much and rolling the dice on whether you’ll get a winner or a dud.
