Figured out why my clipper blades kept heating up after 2 cuts this morning

I was cleaning them the same way I always have with just the brush and oil, but then I realized the real problem was I hadn't taken the blade apart and scraped the hair gunk out from between the teeth in like 3 months, has anyone else had that happen to them?
