I finally tried that new barbershop on Maple Street and the mirror placement is a disaster.
You can't see the back of a client's head from the chair, so you're constantly walking around to check your work. Has anyone else run into a shop layout that just fights you?

Wait, have you ever had to do a tight fade with that setup? I mean, you can't just get up once and call it good. You're up and down like ten times a minute, and it throws off your whole rhythm. It's not about having it hard, it's about a basic tool not working right. That constant moving around adds up and makes a clean cut way harder than it needs to be.

Honestly, is it that big of a deal? You just get up and look. I've cut hair in way worse spots, like a basement with one flickering light. That was a real problem. A mirror being a few feet off just seems like a minor hassle, not a layout disaster. You adapt and keep working.
