That $80 clipper I laughed at ended up being my daily driver
Buddy in Denver kept raving about this Gamma+ blade. I thought he was nuts. Swore by my old Wahl for 6 years straight. Let him use my chair one slow Tuesday, 4 clients in a row. Grabbed one myself the next week. Now it's all I reach for, what's a tool you slept on and came around to?

Grabbed a Babyliss trimmer after fighting with my Wahl detailer for years. The detailer always left this weird shadow line on the neck, you know the one. Swapped to the Babyliss and suddenly my neck lines were crisp in one pass, no cleanup needed. Took me having a client point it out mid haircut to finally change. Still use the Wahl for bulk work though, just not for detailing.

Four clients in a row" lmao dude skipped convincing you and just let his clippers do the talking. I was the same way with the cheap white plastic guards that came with my Wahl kit, swore up and down they were fine until I finally caved and bought a proper set. Now I look back at the hacked haircuts I gave with those things and cringe hard.

Took me forever to stop using the orange crinkle comb that came with my first kit, legit three years before I grabbed a proper fine-tooth.
