That Wahl cordless clipper died mid-haircut on me yesterday

I was halfway through a fade on a regular at my chair in Omaha and the battery just gave out with zero warning. Has anyone else had these things suddenly stop holding a charge after about 8 months?

8 months is exactly when mine started acting up too. I had a fade going on a guy from Benson and the motor just stuttered and quit. Did you ever let it drain all the way down to zero a few times? I think that's what killed mine, I kept running it until it died on the charger instead of topping it off before it got low.

Same thing happened to me @the_nathan, I just bought a new one and it's been fine since.

“I kept running it until it died on the charger” - honestly doubt that killed it. Lithium batteries are tougher than people think, probably just a bad unit from the start.
