Unpopular opinion: that $180 Wahl Magic Clip was the worst money I ever spent
I bought it 3 months back because everybody online kept saying it was the only clipper for fades. The blade guard kept slipping on me mid cut, and I nicked two clients in the same week at my chair on 5th Street. I ended up going back to my $60 Andis and losing half a day of bookings messing with the Wahl. What clippers are you all actually running on fades, cause I am not trusting influencer reviews again.

The guard slipping is usually a bent blade or the taper lever not fully locked, but honestly once a clipper burns you mid fade it's hard to trust it again. My Andis Master has been solid for years and the guards actually stay put. Keep the Wahl as a backup and run what your hands already know.
