Warning: A loose chair leg is easier to fix than you think
My barber chair was wobbling so much I thought it would tip over. Classic me, I ignored it until a client pointed it out. I finally got under there with a wrench and tightened the bolts on the legs. Seriously, it was so easy I felt dumb for putting it off. Now it's rock solid and doesn't scare anyone. I check the bolts every few weeks to keep it that way. Save yourself the stress and just do it early. Trust me, your clients will thank you.

From "doesn't scare anyone", were clients actually saying they felt unsafe sitting in it?

In the client surveys we did last quarter, over 90% rated the seating as 'comfortable and secure'. I mean, maybe it's just me but that doesn't sound like people felt unsafe. Idk, sometimes complaints get amplified but most folks were fine with it. Actually, one guy even said he preferred it because it felt more stable than old models.

Man, I've seen this exact thing happen with product feedback before! Those big percent numbers look good on paper, but you gotta listen to the smaller group who had problems. What worked for us was digging into the written comments from that other 10%, because sometimes the rating scale doesn't capture their real worries. We ended up making one small change that shut down almost all the complaints, and the quiet majority still loved it. Always do a real temperature check beyond just the scores.
