Went with a straight razor over clippers on a 70 year old's beard and it paid off
Had a regular named Walt come in last Tuesday, 70 years old, beard down to his chest, and he wanted either clippers or a full straight shave. I picked the straight razor even though it takes 20 extra minutes, and he tipped $30 and booked every 3 weeks out through December. Any of you get guys who want the clipper shortcut on long beards, or do you push the razor too?
