Furniture flips are all about the sanding, not the paint
I used to just slap primer on thrift store dressers and wonder why they looked rough, then I spent 3 hours sanding an old oak nightstand from Goodwill and it came out smoother than anything I've paid for. Anyone else finally give in and do the boring prep work after fighting with paint bubbles for months?

Girl, yes! I fought paint bubbles for way too long before I finally learned my lesson. Once I started spending real time on the sanding step, my pieces actually started looking like furniture and not craft project rejects. It's the most boring part of the whole thing but honestly it's the only reason my stuff doesn't look like a 5 year old painted it.
