Last Saturday I hit three garage sales in one morning and walked away with a vintage cast iron skillet for $5
After scrubbing off the rust with salt and oil for an hour, it looks almost new and cooks like a dream, so has anyone else found kitchen gold at a yard sale for pocket change?

A couple months back I snagged a Le Creuset dutch oven for $8 at a church sale. Thing was crusted with burned-on stuff but it cleaned up better than my new one after some baking soda and elbow grease. lmao its wild what people throw away. I still use it almost every weekend for chili or bread.
