That beat-up toolbox I grabbed for $8 ended up being a Snap-on goldmine
I spotted this rusty old metal box at a garage sale in Akron last Saturday, guy wanted $8 for it. When I got home and cleaned off the grime, the Snap-on emblem was hiding under layers of dirt and paint. Inside there were 12 wrenches and 3 ratchets that cleaned up like new after some WD-40. Anyone else ever find something that looked like junk but turned out way better after a scrub?

Man, that's the kind of luck that makes you wonder if the universe owes you something. Probably that guy's still kicking himself for not wiping it down before he priced it. Glad you found a treasure instead of just another rusty paperweight like I usually do. Snap-on stuff is built to survive a war, apparently. Heck of a return on 8 bucks.

Snap-on stuff is tough as nails, that's for sure. A little elbow grease and WD-40 goes a long way on old tools. You made out like a bandit for eight bucks.
