I finally finished organizing the pantry after three months of procrastination
Last Saturday I locked myself in the bathroom because my kitchen was a disaster zone with cans and boxes everywhere. I spent four hours sorting everything by type and tossing expired stuff from 2019. Has anyone else had a small win like this that felt way bigger than it should have?

...so I'm just gonna say it, do we really need to make a big deal out of organizing a pantry? Like it's great you got it done, but three months of procrastination for some cans and boxes sounds like you were maybe overthinking it from the start. I mean, what's the worst that could've happened if you didn't sort everything by type? You'd have to dig a little for the soup? It just feels like people hype up these tiny tasks like they climbed a mountain or something. But hey, at least you found some old spices from 2019, that's a win in my book.
