I finally quit hauling my own tools into every job after a homeowner in Mesa asked me one question at the door
She looked at my overflowing truck bed and said her last plumber charged her $180 just for the trip back to his shop for a part he should have had, so now I keep a stocked van and bill by the job instead of the hour, and I want to know if other trades folks have made that switch or if I'm just fooling myself.
