My 14 year old nephew told me he has never once used a bathroom just to sit and think
So my sister dropped my nephew off at my place in Dayton on Saturday while she ran errands, and he went to the bathroom and was back in the living room in like 45 seconds. I laughed and said what, no phone break in there? He goes "why would I sit in the bathroom, that's nasty" and I just stood there because at his age I used to hide in there after dinner to get away from my parents arguing about bills. I told him that used to be the only quiet room in the whole house and he looked at me like I was describing dial up internet. I mean I know phones ruined everything but I did not expect the bathroom to lose its spot as the one room where nobody bugs you. Do kids even lock the door anymore or do they just text the whole time now?
