That time I spent 45 minutes finding a missing USB drive
I was rushing to print out a worksheet for my 7th period class yesterday and couldn't find my USB drive anywhere. Checked my bag, my desk, even the staff room fridge for no reason. Turns out it was stuck sideways in my laptop's USB port the whole time, just blended in with the dark plastic. 45 minutes of panic over a faded 16GB drive. Has anyone else lost something obvious like that and felt like a total idiot?

Oh man, at least it wasn't lodged in the fridge!

Lost my phone while I was holding it once, spent 20 minutes blaming my cat before I realized my own hand was hiding it.
