The $60 vacuum sealer I bought for meal prep sits in my garage unopened 8 months later
I got it on a Black Friday whim because my cousin swore by his, but every time I think about pulling out the bags and the heat strip and figuring out the settings, I just grab a ziplock instead and now the box is dusty and I feel like a total idiot.

Eight months is just a long cooling off period, not a character flaw. My brother’s sat for a year before he dusted it off, and now he won't shut up about how easy it is to seal a bag of soup flat.
