The public restroom at the rest stop off I-90 had a scale by the sink
Stopped at that big travel plaza near mile marker 62 last Tuesday to stretch my legs. Walked in and there's a digital scale right next to the paper towel dispenser, like it's a normal thing. I stepped on it for no reason and now I know my exact weight in front of a guy washing his hands. Has anyone else seen these things popping up, or was this just some weird local choice?

Wait, are they trying to turn public bathrooms into gyms now, or is this some kind of passive aggressive wellness check for people on road trips? I mean, I get the whole "know your numbers" thing, but the last place I want to confront my life choices is ten feet from a urinal. That guy washing his hands definitely saw me step on it, too, and now I'm pretty sure he's out there telling everyone about the lady who gasped at the scale by the paper towels. Next they'll have a blood pressure cuff hooked up next to the hand dryers, I swear.
