Threw $300 at a new tile saw and it barely cut straight out of the box
Picked up a QEP tile saw from Home Depot thinking it'd save me time on a bathroom floor job I got lined up Tuesday. That thing wobbled like a shopping cart wheel on the first cut, chipped every piece of porcelain I put through it. Ended up packing it back up and driving an hour to a contractor supply for a Rubi saw that cost twice as much but actually works. Anybody else had luck getting store returns to cover shipping on junk like that?

@jesse_williams62 probably sold me that wobbly saw... least they took it back.

Home Depot took mine back no questions asked.

Glad to hear they took care of you without any hassle. I had a similar experience with a return there last month, just walked in with the receipt and they processed it in like two minutes. Makes you want to keep shopping there when they actually stand behind their stuff, you know?
