TIL the gas station bathroom on Route 9 near Hadley has a hidden camera in the ceiling vent

I stopped at that Shell station off I-91 yesterday to pee during a road trip and noticed a tiny red light flickering from the vent above the stall. When I climbed on the toilet to check, I saw a lens pointed right at the sink. Is this something you've ever run into at random rest stops?

Man that's wild, I found a similar setup at a rest stop in Ohio once. Always check the ceiling vents and smoke detectors before you do anything in those bathrooms, and if you see something, report it to the local cops immediately. I'd also cover the lens with gum or tape if you can reach it safely.

Grant's advice about covering the lens makes good sense if you can get to it safely. That tape or gum trick could buy you time to get the authorities involved. @grantmartinez is right that nobody should take chances with those hidden spots. Better safe than sorry with this kind of thing.
