Dropped $140 on a Park Tool PCS-10 repair stand and I'm not sure how I built wheels without it
I ran a tiny repair setup out of my garage in Tucson for two years and always clamped frames to a bench vise with shop rags. After I chipped the paint on a customer's 80s steel Bianchi last spring, I finally bought the PCS-10 for about $140. The difference is wild, the tripod legs mean I can spin a wheel and true it at eye level instead of kneeling on the floor. I still use the vise for pressing headsets though, so maybe I'm just doing it backwards. Curious if anyone here has a cheaper stand they actually like, or am I stuck buying Park forever?
