Finally got a 1994 Rockhopper shifting clean after 3 failed tries
Spent most of Saturday on this old Rockhopper a guy dropped off at my bench in Portland. The rear derailleur hanger was bent just enough that no amount of cable fiddling worked, so I straightened it with a Park Tool DAG and it shifted through all 7 gears on the first ride around the block. Felt good to finally beat that one. What do you all use to check hanger alignment when a frame has no replaceable hanger?
