My boss pushed hydraulic brakes on every build, but I went back to mechanical on my own rig after 3 rides
He swears hydraulics are the only way to go but after 3 rides on my personal gravel build in Portland I swapped back to mechanical BB7s and honestly the cable setup stops just as hard in the rain, so I'm wondering if anyone else still runs mechanical on purpose and why you stuck with it.
