PSA: don't buy that $90 chain cleaning tool from the big online store
Spotted a fancy ultrasonic chain cleaner at a shop in Portland last month and figured it would save me time on the high-end road bikes. Set it up on a customer's bike, ran the cycle, and the dang basket ejected the chain right into the drying towel pile. The chain came out clean but the tool stripped a gear on its third use, so now it's a paperweight. Anyone else get burned by a so called pro tool that's just hype?
