DAE think skipping the first season of a show and starting at season 2 is a mistake
My wife and I tried getting into The Wire two different ways. First time we jumped straight to season 2 because a friend said season 1 was slow. We made it 3 episodes and quit. Second time we started at episode 1 of season 1 and finished the whole thing in 11 days. The setup in season 1 is what makes everything later actually land. What shows did you almost drop because someone told you to skip ahead?

Ha, a buddy of mine did the same thing with Breaking Bad and started at season 2! He never went back and still swears the show made no sense to him.
