DAE try the subtitle trick on foreign shows and never go back?

I always skipped foreign shows because reading while watching felt like homework, so I put off Gomorrah for 2 months. Then a buddy in Newark told me to try subtitles at 0.75 size and bump them up a bit, and I knocked out all 5 seasons in 11 days. What settings do you all use to make subs easier on the eyes?
