Everybody loves The Bear but I think season 2 was a mess

I finally binged The Bear last month after everyone kept telling me it was the best show on TV. Season 1 was great, no argument there. But season 2? The episode where they spend the entire time in the fridge doing nothing felt like a total waste. I actually fell asleep during that one and had to rewind. The show lost its pace and got way too artsy for its own good. Am I the only one who thinks the kitchen chaos was what made it great, not all the slow character drama?

I fell asleep at the exact point where he started unpacking the fourth box of takeout containers. I just don't find hours of someone organizing their fridge to be compelling TV, I guess.
