I used to watch shows one episode a week, now I finish a whole season in a weekend and feel weird about it
Two years ago I was a one episode a night guy. I'd sit down after dinner, watch exactly one, and go to bed. It felt normal, like how everyone else did it. Then my buddy in Denver told me about this show and said the next season drops in 10 days, so I had to catch up fast. I binged 8 episodes in one Saturday. I didn't move off the couch except for water and a frozen pizza. Now I can't go back. When a new season starts, I wait until it's all out and then knock it out in 2 or 3 sittings. The thing is, I remember way less. Names, side plots, who did what, it all blurs together. My friend says that's the trade off and it's fine, but I'm not sure. Do you all space them out or just plow through and deal with the fog?
