Just wasted 6 hours on a show that got canceled mid season

Spent three evenings watching The Cape on Prime, really got into the story, and then discovered it ended on a cliffhanger after one season. Has anyone else fallen for a show that got the axe too early?

At least you got closure, canceled shows leave you wanting more.

God, tell me about it. That's the worst feeling honestly. You get invested in a show, start loving the characters, and then bam - nothing. No ending, no resolution, just a void. I've had that happen a few times and it still stings. At least with a finale, even if it's bad, you know for sure it's over. You can hate it and move on. But a cancellation just leaves you hanging forever.

My buddy Dave got burned bad by The OA. Three seasons in two different timelines. Then poof. Gone. He still brings it up at poker games two years later. Swears he'll never start another streaming show until it's finished. I just laugh and deal the cards.
