My coworker in Denver called 'Dark' a confusing mess and I'm still mad about it
He said 'I gave up after two episodes, the time travel makes no sense' during our lunch break last month. Has anyone else had a friend totally dismiss a show you loved before even giving it a real shot?

Ugh, that's the worst. Honestly, giving up on Dark after two episodes is like judging a whole book by its cover. Tbh, some people just can't handle a show that makes you think.

Yeah, the part about judging a book by its cover is so true. I mean, I almost quit Dark after the first episode because it felt slow, but my friend told me to stick it out until episode three. @the_holly, that was the key for me. Once all the family connections started to click, I was totally hooked. It just needs a little time to lay everything out. Maybe it's just me, but giving a show a solid three episodes feels fair before calling it quits.
