PSA: blew $60 on a year of that fancy streaming bundle and watched 4 things
So 8 months back I grabbed the big ad free bundle for $59.99 thinking I'd finally catch up on everything. Turned out I rewatched The Bear twice and never touched the other two apps. Canceled it last Tuesday and put that money toward a used DVD set of The Wire at the flea market in Pawtucket for $12. What's the show you keep paying for but never press play on?

Did you actually do the math on that DVD set though? The Wire full series is 60 episodes across 5 seasons, and a used flea market set for $12 is a steal, but those discs add up to way more watching time than 4 things on a streaming bundle. My point is you didn't waste the $60 because you watched nothing, you wasted it because you paid for apps you already knew you wouldn't open. The Bear twice in 8 months is still like 20 hours of TV, so it's not like the bundle sat totally untouched. The real problem is bundling. You can't buy just the one app you actually use, they force you into the package and hope you forget to cancel. Sounds like you figured that out the hard way, but at least The Wire on DVD won't auto renew on you.
