Quick vs. slow bingeing: which one keeps you hooked longer?

I used to think the best way to binge a show was to power through 6 episodes in one night. But last month I tried spacing out 'The Bear' over two weeks, one episode a day, and I actually remembered more details and felt more invested. Now I'm wondering if slow bingeing gives you a better experience or if fast bingeing is the only way to keep up with spoilers. What's your go-to pace for a show you really like?

Tried the slow approach with Better Call Saul and ended up forgetting what happened three episodes back, so I just rewatched the whole thing from scratch. Fast bingeing is the only way my brain keeps the plot straight.

Totally feel you @verawhite, I do the same thing with complex shows...

Man, I had a buddy who tried the slow approach with Breaking Bad. He watched one episode a week to "savor it." By the time he got to season 3 he'd forgotten half the plot and had to google a recap every time he hit play. He gave up after season 4 and said he'd just rewatch it from scratch later. Never did.
