Serious question, my new show prediction skill is making everything predictable

I binge-watched a ton of sci-fi series and picked up on ALL the common tropes. Now I can guess every plot twist from miles away, which just KILLS the excitement. How do you guys deal with getting too good at this stuff?

Maybe try switching to a totally fresh genre, like cooking shows.

Honestly, watching a cooking show would just remind me of how I'd burn that hollandaise. My version of kitchen stress is just trying not to screw up toast.

Oh sure, because watching someone stress over a hollandaise is way more relaxing. They just micromanage you with a whisk instead of a spreadsheet.
