Showerthought: I used to give every show 3 episodes no matter what, now I'm out after 1
I used to be a total 3 episode guy, like clockwork, every new show got three full hours before I could quit it. That was back around 2019 when I had way more free time and honestly I felt weird bailing on stuff. Now I'm gone after one episode, sometimes even just 20 minutes in, and I don't feel bad about it at all. Last month I tried that big sci-fi show everyone at work kept pushing and I made it 25 minutes before I switched to a rerun of The Office. I think streaming just gave us too many options, there's like 500 shows a year now and my time got more expensive. Curious if anyone else switched like this or if I'm just getting impatient as I get older.
