Yeah that's so true lol. My grandpa was a carpenter and he'd say the same thing about his old hand saws. He had this rusty saw that looked like junk, but he could make the cleanest cuts with it. Meanwhile I'd try with his nice new saw and my lines were all over the place. It's all in the skill, not just the tool.

My uncle's 1970s drill looks beat up but works perfect. A good tool feels right in your hands after years of use. The fancy new stuff can't buy that kind of feel.
