Overheard a guy at the hardware store call a ball-peen hammer a 'tack hammer'

Honestly, it made me think about how many specific tool names get lost. I had to bite my tongue and just grab my 3-pound cross-pein. Has anyone else heard a wild misnomer for a basic tool lately?
