Rant: the decorative twist on a fire poker took me 4 hours because I kept untwisting it
Wanted a simple spiral in the handle of a fire poker and it turned into a 4 hour fight with my own vise grips. First the heat was wrong, then I over-twisted at least three times, so what's your go-to trick for keeping a twist even?
