Hot take: I quit using auto mode after a guy at the Grand Rapids photo walk called my shots 'lazy'
He said my blurry sunset pics were just my camera guessing and told me to lock focus on the brightest thing in frame. Shot 40 pics at f/8 on a tripod last weekend and finally got sharp ones, so what's your go to trick for keeping focus where you want it?
