Am I the only one who spotted a beat up copy of Settlers of Catan on the shelf at a cabin rental in Branson?
My wife and I rented a cabin outside Branson last month and the place had a shelf of old games by the fireplace. Every box was missing pieces except Catan, which had 4 wood for sheep jokes written inside the lid in pen. The previous renters signed it like a guest log, 11 names total, and one guy drew a tiny robber on the desert tile. I added my name and left the board set up mid game for the next folks. What is the weirdest place you have stumbled on a random game night in progress?

11 names and a drawn robber sounds less like a game night and more like people bored out of their minds with no wifi. Leaving the board mid game is a bold move though, half those renters probably just dumped the pieces back in the box wrong and ruined your setup.
