Can we talk about the $45 board game organizer that made setup worse?

I dropped $45 last month on a custom insert for my copy of Gloomhaven, thinking it would finally cut our 25 minute setup time down to something sane. Instead the trays don't fit the monster standees right, so we spend even longer digging for the right pieces and now half the box lid won't close. Has anyone found an organizer that actually speeds things up, or am I better off just sorting things into baggies?
