My 3 year old niece taught me a new way to sort game pieces

Last month, I was sorting through the bits for Scythe and my niece walked over and started grouping them by color gradient instead of type. She had all the green meeple-like tokens in a perfect rainbow order, it was oddly satisfying. Has anyone else found weird sorting methods that actually work better?

Yeah vibe sorting is the only way to go honestly.

Haha, that gradient sorting hits different. I've got a buddy who organizes his board game bits by weight first, then color. Sounds insane, but when you're reaching for that one specific piece in a dark room it actually saves time. I sorted my whole Wingspan collection by "vibe" once, all the birds that look like they'd mug you go in one pile. Honestly, if the method makes you happy and you can still find stuff, let the kid cook.

Weight-first sorting is wild but I kinda respect the dedication.
