My buddy insisted I buy the 'Scythe' expansion right away, and now I'm stuck with a box I can't use
He said the 'Invaders from Afar' pack was a must-have for our group of four, so I grabbed it for $35. The problem is, we've only played the base game twice in the last six months, and both times were with just three people. The expansion needs five or six players to really work, so it's just been sitting on my shelf. I should have checked the player count myself instead of taking his word for it. What's a piece of board game advice you got that totally missed the mark for your situation?
