My buddy Steve swore by using a weighted dice tray to stop dice from flying off the table
He was right, I got one for $20 last month and now I don't spend half the game hunting for runaway d20s under the couch, anyone else have a cheap hack that just works?

Wait, doesn't a regular old baking sheet with some felt glued in work just as good for like 5 bucks? I get that the nice ones look better but paying 20 bucks for something that's basically just a rimmed tray feels like a lot.

Pretty much this exactly. I did the baking sheet trick for like 2 years and honestly it held up fine until I got tired of explaining why dinner was being served off a cookie sheet every time we had people over. @jackson.matthew is right about the table factor though. My friend got one of those cheap 10 dollar bamboo trays from Target and it's somewhere in between, lasts forever and looks okay.

Oh man I feel you, baking sheets do the job fine but sometimes you just want something that actually looks nice on the table.
