My friend's kid in Omaha just called my favorite Eurogame 'boring math'
He was right, it's a point salad with zero theme. Anyone else have a game they love that got called out like that?

Just tell them to try building one without the math first.

Ugh, that's the worst. I just ask them to guess the cam timing or pick a carb size by feel. Tell them to set the ignition advance by ear and see how long the motor lasts. The math isn't for fun, it's so you don't melt pistons or waste a ton of cash on parts that don't work together.
