Took me 45 minutes to find a single missing meeple under the couch yesterday

We were setting up Carcassonne and realized the green meeple was just gone. I searched the whole living room, under cushions, even checked the dog's bed. After 45 minutes I finally found it wedged between the couch frame and the wall. Has anyone else lost a game piece in a spot that made zero sense?

Did you check inside the Carcassonne box itself... right where it should've been?

Whoa, 45 minutes? That's rough. I once spent a good half hour looking for the little white token from Ticket to Ride and found it inside an empty shoe. I swear those pieces just teleport sometimes.
