Digital pressure monitors seemed like overkill until they prevented a shutdown
Their early warning on a failing valve saved us hours of downtime, so I'm a believer now.

Honestly, I see it the other way. Those gadgets often add cost and hassle without enough payoff for small ops. I'd rather trust regular checks and proven analog gauges most of the time.

Exactly! All that extra tech just becomes another thing that can break and needs fixing.

Early digital warning caught a failing pump for us.

My old neighbor had a sump pump fail last spring. No warning at all. Came home to three inches of water in the finished basement. The cleanup bill was over eight grand. His insurance only covered part of it. Makes a sensor seem pretty cheap after hearing that story.
