I refused and did the full test, which caught a tiny leak in a weld that would have failed inspection, and now I'm wondering how often other guys face that kind of pressure to cut corners.

Honestly, it happens more than you'd think. I just started setting a phone reminder for the night before trash day. Seeing that alert pop up totally fixed it for me. Before that, I'd miss it like twice a month and have a full can for another week. It sounds silly, but that one little reminder made all the difference.
