Bought the $85 annotated edition for book club and the notes ruined the story for me
I picked up the fancy annotated version of our pick last month and every other page has a spoiler footnote that gives away what happens two chapters later. Half our group thinks notes add depth, the other half says just read the plain copy and bring your own thoughts. Which side are you on?
