Finally finished a book my book club fought over for months

We spent 3 meetings arguing about "Pachinko" and I couldn't get past page 50. Last week I just skipped to the end and googled the middle - now I can finally fake it at the next debate. Anyone else just bail on a club pick and piece it together?

My buddy Dave did this with a 600-page history book for his club and just watched the movie adaptation instead. He got away with it for two meetings before someone called him out, you think you can pull it off?

@the_nathan tell Dave he's a legend, but I bet the book club figured it out in 5 minutes.
